Más Dinero: Travel Insurance Now Mandatory for Entry to Cuba

Because of the decades of US restrictions on travel to Cuba most Americans are likely unaware that Cuba is a popular tourist destination. A record 2.4 million foreigners visited Cuba last year, including some 100,000 Americans.  As of May 1, 2010, the Cuban government is requiring all tourists to show proof of comprehensive travel insurance including medical insurance.
