I like Bob Hope Airport because it's close to my house. It's not too big and easy to get in and out of.
When I fly to Vegas, I tend to fly out of Bob Hope because fares are roughly the same as when I fly out of LAX. I also like the fact that when you fly Southwest, they use both forward and rear doors so the "cattle call" isn't that bad. I wish other airports that use Jetways have that capability to expand to both front and rear doors. |

Stephen, I also wonder why planes continue to load from one door only. On a few European trips I've experienced dual-door loading and it is great. It seems to me that boarding is taking longer and longer these days. I wonder why there has been no progress in looking at ways to speed up the process.

Stephen, is Southwest boarding using stairs (or rampstands) at Burbank? They were testing jetbridges that actually extended over the wing and to the rear entry door, but I was not sure if they stated actually using these regularly. I know they had a mishap in which an aircraft was damaged using this type of jetbridge.
