Airline Ambassadors: Making A Difference — and You Can, Too

On our January 29 show we had the honor to have Nancy Rivard, President of Airline Ambassadors International, as our guest.  AAI is a non-profit organization affiliated with the United Nations and recognized by the US Congress.  Airline Ambassadors provides humanitarian aid to children and families in need and conducts international relief and development to underprivileged communities.  It began as a network of airline employees using their pass privileges to help others and has expanded into a network of students, medical professionals, families and retirees who volunteer as “Ambassadors of Goodwill” in their home communities and abroad.  It provides a way for members to share their unique skills and talents to care for others and bring compassion into action.

Airline Ambassadors are currently undertaking monumental and lifesaving efforts in Haiti. See their webpage  http://www.airlineamb.org for news updates, to donate needed cash, and find out how you can volunteer to be an Airline Ambassador.
