“Ladies and Gentlemen, please direct your attention to the flight attendants as they demonstrate proper travel manners or as we like to call it, Jetiquette, on today’s flight.”
Thank you so much for your work to improve the civility displayed by passengers and crew to one another on airline flights throughout the world. I must tell you that you have your work cut out for you. For the most part, people are very polite, patient, and courteous. It’s just that when people have poor behavior, it is extremely poor. I know you’ve done videos on the subject and even created a Jetiquette card for people to hand out, but I have had trouble finding the Jetiquette card. Where is it? It seems like everyone could use a little brush up on their travel manners or travel etiquette.
On a recent flight, I had the child behind me kicking my seat and the parents could not have cared less. I wanted to just hand them your card (which my friend found on the Flying with Fish Blog) with the part about the children misbehaving circles in red!
Signed,

Dear I in I,
The Sky Steward praises you for your patience and apologizes for the inconvenience of broken links and dead web pages that has made finding the Jetiquette card impossible. Here is the current Jetiquette card, with a revised version on the way soon that incorporates even more in-flight faux pas and will help anyone in the likely event of a travel manners or travel etiquette emergency. Please feel free to add to the list by writing the Sky Steward directly at gailen@skysteward.com. He’d love to hear from you!
Many of the items presented on our former blog must be reposted. Please accept our apologies if you’ve already heard about the Jetiquette card; although even the most seasoned traveler should review the card before each and every flight.
Happy flying!

| 1. | conventional requirements as to travel behavior; proprieties of conduct as established in any class or community or for any occasion while traveling. |
| 2. | a prescribed or accepted code of usage in matters of air travel or other modes of travel as well. |
| 3. | the code of ethical and cordial behavior regarding professional practice or action among the members of a profession in their dealings with each other and their customers: crew jetiquette. |
Displaying proper Jetiquette, travel etiquette, or travel manners makes everyone’s travel experience better one. During peak times of the year and holiday travel, when packed airplanes and crowded airports are the norm, travel manners become even more important. Jetiquette takes travel etiquette to a new level in which everyone plays a role in making each other’s travel experience more enjoyable and less stressful.

Bonjour,
My take on these obnoxious little bastards, is to unleash upon them the full furry of the George Carlin approach … “F**K off you little bastard” and to your mom, dad, parent, whatever the case may be … “listen … either YOU be the parent of this obnoxious little f**ck, or I WILL! And then things will be set right. he either shuts-the-f**k up, or he goes overboard! End of discussion! Works for me … since 1970 in aviation
Cheers!

This is called the “shock” approach which has been found to be highly effective when dealing with hopelessly clueless individuals doubling as parents. Hopefully, your initial kind, but firm request will be honored.
