Jonathan and Joanne were returning to college from Christmas break on December 28, 1997 when they found themselves seated next to each other on United 483 from Chicago to Sacramento. Jonathan knew he had to say something to Joanne, something to break the ice, but what? And Joanne was not so sure she wanted to have chitchat with a stranger. Tune in and hear their story. (Spoiler alert: they were married June 10, 2006. They have a toddler daughter, Allyn, and are expecting a son to be born in the near future.)
We are also joined by Heather Poole, a flight attendant who writes for
Gadling as well as her own blog, “Another Flight Attendant Writing” . She will share with us her story of finding love above the clouds.
Our European Correspondent Raymond joins us from the Netherlands to update us on life in his part of the world. Raymond once found romance on a plane — listen in to hear his story! You can call in to speak to Raymond,
or share your own Valentine’s Day story.
