American Airlines said it is looking into what led to actor Alec Baldwin being kicked off a flight departing from LAX on Tuesday afternoon.
In a tweet to the actor, American Airlines said, “Mr. Baldwin, we are looking into this.” Airline officials asked Baldwin to send him his contact information.

An American Airlines spokesman declined comment, saying the company does not comment on “something that might or might not have happened” due to customers’ privacy concerns.
Meanwhile, Baldwin continued his criticism of the airline on Twitter.
He vowed never to fly American Airlines again.
“#theresalwaysunited,” Baldwin tweeted. “Last flight w American. Where retired Catholic school gym teachers from the 1950′s find jobs as flight attendants.”
Baldwin said on Twitter that he was kicked off the flight for playing “Words With Friends” on an unspecified electronic device. But another passenger on the flight said on Twitter that he was told by an airline representative on the flight that Baldwin was removed from the flight because of abusive behavior.
No investigations have been opened into the matter, law enforcement sources said, but that could change if American Airlines chooses to file a complaint with the Federal Aviation Administration.
