Here are My Miami Favorites! 

Here are some of the places I’ve visited this week in Miami. If you’re headed to this sophisticated tropical paradise, I would highly suggest adding these spots to your itinerary.

For Beauty

Salon Vaso
Miami Beach 

Very conveniently located on Alton Road and 15th in Miami Beach, Salon Vaso is my favorite find this week. From the moment I stepped through the private entrance and up the tastefully decorated staircase, I knew this was the first of many visits I would make to this beauty spot. I was offered a glass of chilled champagne immediately after I was checked-in by the friendly and poised receptionist and it only went uphill from there. A super manicure from Tanya and an amazing haircut by Vaso herself (a rarity these days, so I was extremely lucky)!  This truly full service salon does everything including facials, eyelash tinting, you name it!

SoHo Beach House
Miami Beach

The SoHo Beach House is a membership club; however you can feel like you are a member as a guest of their hotel.  This hotel is like a country club on the beach with their luxurious Cowshed Spa and 8th floor plunge-pool; plus endless events and activities planned by the staff for guest enjoyment. TIP: Book your accommodation via Orchid Resorts for special service and perks!

For Dining and shopping

Marisposa
Coral Gables

If you want to do a little shopping with lunch, I would suggest visiting The Village of Merrick Park which is located in Coral Gables (only 10 minutes from Downtown Miami and even closer to the airport). Mariposa is a fantastic idea for lunch and is located on the third floor of Neiman Marcus. You’ll also find many shops to visit as way to walk off the delicious popovers, entrees and luscious desserts you’ll enjoy at Mariposa including Gucci, Tiffany, Armani, Burberry, Nordstrom and many more.
