When most people think of a Miami vacation, they think of South Beach; but have you ever visited Coconut Grove? I’ve lived here for over 20 years and I can’t think of anywhere else I’d rather be. On your next trip to paradise, after you’ve booked your flights to Miami, add Coconut Grove to your itinerary.

Coconut Grove is Miami’s Waterfront Gem

“The Grove” as it is referred to by the locals, is a lush tropical sailing community that has a history that is as interesting as its inhabitants. Pan American even developed their original seaplane base at Coconut Grove’s Dinner Key for flights to the Caribbean and South America before those areas developed land based airport operations. Once you’ve booked your flights to Miami, plan a stay in this lush tropical paradise with canopied streets lined with shops and cafes. There are several great choices for accommodations including the Ritz Carlton, Sonesta, Mayfair Hotel and Spa, The Mutiny and several others. Coconut Grove venues

Peacocks are the official ambassadors of Coconut Grove and you’ll often encounter painted striking peacock statues placed throughout the Grove or you may even encounter one in-person such as the ones that regularly visit my driveway.

I guarantee that your visit to the Miami area will be infinitely more enjoyable and memorable when you spend some time with us in The Grove.
