Finding a Fitness Center Near the Airport is a Cinch!
by Gailen David
A workout on a long airport layover seems like a good idea right? But where should you go since a jog on the runway may delay your trip? We’ve been enjoying a website that makes it easy to find the closest airport gyms of which many offer day passes if you don’t already have a membership.
The website is www.airportgyms.com and it offers an easy way to locate a gym” in or around the airport”. We think it’s a great idea!
It also works well if you are staying in a hotel that has a gym (using the term loosely), but you just cannot seem to break a sweat using the limited selection of equipment which may include a Thigh-Master and other “As-Seen-On-TV” fitness products with a line of other guests waiting to use them. Have you ever noticed that people that haven’t worked out in decades choose to start a fitness program when your trying to get a workout in? Don’t let it stop you!
Just think about what you could do in 45 minutes at the gym; 20 minutes on the elliptical, abs, some dumbbells and you’re done . Yes, it’s worth it!
Here are just a couple of gym locations we found on the site:

What do you weigh? I’ll break it down for myself to give you an idea. 185lbs.x15=2775matience calories. So in order to keep the muscle I already have I need 2775 calories. If I wanted to put on weight I would eat 3200-3700 calories a day. You should also take in 1-2 g of protein per pound a day. So, I eat 6-7 times a day so I’ll say 3500/7= 500 calories per meal. You have to eat clean foods though not fast food because all of the foods nutrients are depleted so stay away.
